ABOUT THE KING'S BUSINESS SCHOOL

This October, we are bringing the King’s Business School experience from King’s College School, Wimbledon to Ho Chi Minh City, giving children aged 10–13 the opportunity to explore the world of business, entrepreneurship and leadership.
 
As the second event in our King’s Experience Series, we are bringing that approach to HCMC through an immersive morning experience with a focus on sustainability. Working in teams, children will explore a real challenge facing HCMC, consider who it affects and why it matters, develop a possible solution, and present their ideas to a panel.
 
The experience will be hosted by Mr Mike Christou, an experienced educator and senior leader at King’s College School, Wimbledon, alongside business leaders from HCMC, bringing together a distinctive King’s approach to learning with real-world business experience and perspectives.
 
Children can choose from two Saturday sessions in October. No previous knowledge of business is required, just curiosity, the ability to participate in English and a willingness to get involved.

Meet Mr Mike Christou, Host of King’s Business School in HCMC

An experienced educator and senior leader at King’s College School, Wimbledon, Mike Christou brings more than a decade of experience at the School and a deep understanding of a King’s education.
 
Mike joined King’s Wimbledon in 2014 and was Head of Geography from 2018 to 2024, leading teaching and learning, curriculum development and maintaining consistently high academic standards. His connection to King’s began even earlier, graduating with First Class Honours in Geography from King’s College London, where King’s College School itself was founded nearly 200 years ago.
 
Now Head of New School Start-ups (Education) for King’s International, Mike is closely involved in the educational development of King’s HCMC, particularly our curriculum, assessment and founding teaching team.
 
As host of King’s Business School HCMC, Mike will draw on this breadth of experience to challenge young people to explore real-world problems, think critically, develop their ideas and communicate them with confidence.
